1. Welcome to Somerset Window Cleaning. These Terms & Conditions govern our relationship, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
We offer window cleaning (including frames, sills, and doors) using a water-fed pole system, alongside gutter clearing, fascia cleaning, and conservatory roof maintenance. Additional services may require separate agreements and are subject to availability.
Scheduling: We confirm appointments via message the evening before, with arrival within two working days.
Access: Ensure gates are unlocked, windows are accessible, and hazards (e.g., dog waste, obstructions) are cleared. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling with a potential fee.
Weather: We reserve the right to reschedule if conditions endanger safety (e.g., storms, ice). Light rain does not affect service quality.
We’ll give you a quote before starting, and all payments need to be made within three days of the clean. The easiest way to pay is through our customer portal by setting up a Direct Debit. It’s a secure and hassle-free option, fully covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and can be cancelled at any time. If you prefer to pay via BACS, just let us know and we’ll provide our bank details upon request.
If you wish to skip a clean, simply reply to the reminder message we send the day before your window clean is due. This helps us manage our schedule efficiently and ensures we don’t turn up unnecessarily. Sometimes things happen, like bad weather or unexpected issues. We’ll always endeavour to give you plenty of notice and rearrange your appointment.
We aim to provide a regular and reliable service and will clean your windows in most weather conditions. Our Reach and Wash system works effectively in various weather conditions, and the quality of your window clean will not be affected by rain.
We offer a 48-hour guarantee on all our work. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of the completion of the work, and we will return to re-clean the affected windows free of charge. Please note that a working day typically excludes weekends and bank holidays.
Please make sure the area around your windows is safe and clear. Let us know if there are any hazards, including cleaning up any dog mess in areas we need to access. For everyone’s safety, please keep pets and children away while we’re working.
We’re fully insured for the work we do, with £5 million public liability cover in place to give you peace of mind. We’ll always take great care when cleaning your property. However, we can’t be held responsible for any pre-existing damage, such as cracked glass, rotting frames, or loose fittings. Please let us know if there are any areas of concern before we start the job.
If you aren't fully satisfied, please inform us within 24 hours, and we will return to make it right.
We respect your privacy. Your details are only used for booking and providing our services. We won’t share your info with anyone unless required by law.
We might revise these Terms & Conditions occasionally. Any updates will be communicated to you or published on our website.
