The discipline and standards drilled into me in the Royal Marines are the same ones I apply to every job we do.

When I left the Marines and started Somerset Window Cleaning in 2019, I didn't have a business plan — I had a work ethic. Turn up on time. Do the job properly. Leave it better than you found it. In the military, that's the baseline. In window cleaning, it turned out to be a genuine differentiator.

Word spread quickly. Neighbours would ask who cleaned next door's windows, and before long I was hiring. Today we're a team of five covering 45+ towns across Somerset — from Yeovil to Weston-super-Mare.

We handle everything from regular residential rounds to commercial contracts for the likes of Clarks and Somerset Council. The standards haven't changed since day one. We've just got more vans now.
