Window cleaning in Castle Cary & Bruton

Blocked gutters are cleared with a vacuum pole, from the ground, so there are no ladders against your walls and nobody on your roof. Homes around Castle Cary Market House and Ansford sit close to trees and fields, so leaf litter and moss build up quickly and a yearly clear stops overflow before it stains the walls.

Grey, streaky fascias show up most on the period homes and terraces around Ansford and Bruton High Street, where the roofline sits right above the street. We pre-treat the stains and wash the boards from the ground with telescopic poles, so no scaffolding is needed on most properties. It can be booked together with a gutter clear in the same visit.

Under trees and beside open fields around Bruton High Street and Pitcombe, conservatory roofs gather moss, algae and pollen faster than the rest of the house. We always start with pure water and soft brushes, add a biodegradable cleaning solution only where it is needed, then finish with a pure water rinse so it dries spot free. We keep the pressure off the seals, and the method is safe on polycarbonate, glass and self-cleaning coatings.

Farm dust, pollen and bird droppings settle on panels around Pitcombe and Galhampton and quietly cut the output you paid for. We clean with deionised water and soft brushes only, no detergents and no pressure washers, the method most panel manufacturers ask for. While we are up there we check for visible damage, loose fixings and pigeon nesting and tell you what we find.

The newer rendered homes around Galhampton and Castle Cary Market House pick up green algae and black streaks within a few years, especially on the north-facing walls. Our soft wash uses low pressure and biodegradable agents instead of a high-pressure jet, which is far gentler on the render and the joints around it, and we adapt it for K-rend, monocouche, silicone, cement and lime systems. Every render job in Castle Cary & Bruton starts with a site visit so we can match the method to your render and agree a fixed price.

Shaded drives and patios around Ansford and Bruton High Street grow moss and algae fast, and the paths get slippery by autumn. We match the pressure and technique to the surface, whether that is block paving, flagstone, concrete, tarmac, Indian stone, porcelain or decking, and turn it down for softer or older surfaces. Garden walls, steps and brickwork are covered too, and we agree a fixed price before we start.
