Wells has a special place for us. Our owner Dan lived here for seven years after leaving the Royal Marines — his first marital home was in Wells, drawn here by weekend coffee trips while living in nearby Axbridge. He and his family still spend most weekends browsing the shops and walking around the Bishop's Palace moat. Wells days are a favourite on the schedule — Dan always tries to take this run when he can.
