Will cleaning void my solar panel warranty?
Warranty terms vary by maker, so check yours for any cleaning conditions and tell us about them. Our method is the gentle one: soft brushes and deionised water only, with no abrasives, detergents or pressure washers.
How often should solar panels be cleaned?
Once or twice a year for most installations. Panels near trees, the coast, or with heavy bird activity may need more frequent attention.
Can I clean solar panels myself with a hose?
We would not recommend it. Tap water leaves mineral deposits on the glass, and working at roof height is dangerous. We supply our own purified water and clean from the ground with reach-and-wash poles.
Does a professional clean pay for itself?
Cleaning removes dirt that can reduce output. Any financial saving depends on your system, the soiling and the value of the electricity generated. We cannot promise that it will cover the cleaning cost.
How do you reach the panels without going on the roof?
Reach-and-wash poles with soft brush heads extend up to 40 feet from the ground. That reaches most residential arrays from the ground, so nobody walks on your roof or panels.
