How often should gutters be cleared?
Twice a year: once in late autumn after leaf fall, and again in spring. Properties with overhanging trees may need an extra mid-year check.
How do you clear gutters?
We use a high-powered gutter vacuum from ground level that reaches up to three storeys, so most gutters are cleared without leaving the ground. Where access calls for it we will use a ladder, but we never work up on the roof or risk your tiles.
Why should gutters be cleared before winter?
Somerset gets its heaviest rainfall between October and March. Blocked gutters cause damp walls, stained brickwork, and rotting fascia boards. Clearing them in autumn prevents costly repairs.

Gutter clearing removes leaves, moss, and debris from inside the gutters so water flows freely. Gutter cleaning (fascia and soffit cleaning) washes the outside so they look smart from the street. We offer both services.
